Hopefully some one else could answer this question better. PS: If you do have to change 2000 file names manually, man do I fell sorry for you :("

PS: If you do have to change 2000 file names manually, man do I fell sorry for you :(
I knocked out 696 lastnight, got about 700 for the next catagory but they can wait. I got enough work to keep me busy for a couple days, I got to make another menu, this one's gonna slide out of the dropdown when the mouse is over roms and have links to roms for different platforms. Since I added the roms and other downloads my pageloads have gone through the roof, I am getting about 10-15 uniques and about 60 pageloads per day. I have been getting a lot of traffic from p2p networks, what I did is made some shortcuts and placed them in files in my shared folder with a text document stating what my site is about and what they will and won't find on it. It's working, the traffic is targeted and most visitors stay on my site for a while not to mention my returning visitors stats are up too. :D"

I think I should give it a try. ;)
The key to this is to name the file revelevent to what is on your site eg; I want people to visit my roms pages so I made a bunch of files with names like roms, free roms, nes roms, free nes roms ect the more the better. Within the file is the text doc, the url shortcut and I included the emulator for the roms mostly just to beef up the file since most people won't download small files (without the emulator the file was around 5kb with it it is 499kb) the file has to be compressed too, I just send to compressed folder since not everyone has winzip and winrar. When you think about it it's kind of like a search engine but you have a better chance being found. In the text doc I also requested that they keep a copy of the file in their shared folder so other people will have the same opportunity as them to find free roms. If I could suggest a p2p program to use it would be Limewire, with Limewire you can see how many times a file has been downloaded, how many hits for the filename and you can monitor what people are searching for, it's also the fastest."
