Plans for SuperBowl Sunday?

Wash all of the icky salt off if while the sun is out! It is almost 50 degrees out, so I'm guessing I won't be the only one with this plan."

Darren said: "Is the Super Bowl really a big thing to most people?"

Heather said: "Not to me, but I saw a stat that said SuperBowl Sunday is the biggest eating holiday second only to Thanksgiving!! That doesn't seem to be too surprising, lots of SuperBowl parties and Beer drinking going on."

AngelaCea said: "What network is it on and are the Browns playing, what time is it on and what day :confused:"

raven said: "All I know is that it is on today. Don't know what time or channel, tho. :confused:"

Heather said: "Just getting ready to start. They are playing in Jacksonville. Looks like a pretty nice evening there! Eagles versus Patriots."

Darren said: "What a boring game. I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter."

Heather said: "I was talking with a friend of mine and the first commercial she brought up was the one by GoDaddy. The bad news? She didn't remember (or know) what company the commercial was for. Not the kind of stuff that makes for big sales. GoDaddy had to sell a lot of cheap domain names to spend it on a 30 second spot. :eek:"

Darren said: "Yeah. I was floored by the GoDaddy ad. It costs $5 million per minute to advertise on the Super Bowl. GoDaddy sells domains for around $7 each. That's an awful lot of money to make up for the ad."

Heather said: "Thanks for that link, Raven! I'll have to check them out since I turned it off after the first quarter. :eek: I did catch the halftime show and thought that it was pretty good. Not quite as controversial as last years!"

raven said: "Welcome, Brigid. I didn't watch the game or the ads, but I went to that site cause I wanted to see the one with Brad in it :D"

farmer_Tom said: "Lots of boys from town got together to see the Super Bowl but it wasn't the Cowboys so we sort of lost interest at halftime...after all, nobody on our team wants to grow up and be a yankee..."
