AngelaCea said: "Members please post your complaints about forum bugs in this thead so we can discuss features that are not enabled or things that you are having problems with.
For example there are a few things that I have discovered.
1) when clicking on the last post Icon, it takes me to a redirection page instead of the last post in the thread.
2) in the menu bar, when you click on "quick links", then click on "who's online" the page is dead, it should display who is looking at what thread.
This needs to be enabled.
If anyone discovers any other bugs, please let BK know in this thread, if you have questions please post them in this thread, OK :) :o"
raven said: "Both of those features were working properly earlier today.
BK musta made an adjustment that disabled them or something."
AngelaCea said: "This is why we need to keep posting in this thread so BK has an idea of the problems users are finding with the new forum software.
Also any questions should be posted if you do not know how to do something, let us hear from everyone if you are having problems so they can be worked on."
AngelaCea said: "New BUG!!
When reviewing the member list, I clicked on Edwin's name and a blank page came up, is this just something special for Edwin or is that a bug in the software BK :D :p "
raven said: "BigT, find out how we can start reading a new thread from the top of the page instead of the bottom (last post)."

Im getting it for everyone.
a blank white page."
Darksat said: "Im also getting a 404 error when I click on the last post icon for a thread"
quinny said: "i'm getting that too just click on the title cos it will bring you to the last page"
Darksat said: "Yeah, I know, but it should still get fixed."
quinny said: "did i say not to fix it ...i'm also getting those blank pages alot"
Darksat said: "Its a new forum, give it time, BK is quite good at staying on top of things."
Darren said: "I found the Member thing and fixed it.
What is the last post thing?"
Darksat said: "When you have a thread with more than 3 pages it has a last post link.
eg
New Sections. ( 1 2 3 ... Last Page )
the last page one dosnt work."
AngelaCea said: "
I found the Member thing and fixed it.
What is the last post thing?
When you click on the last post Icon in a thread it takes you to your redirection page when it should take you to the last post."
Darren said: "Okay, fixed it.
Imagine if everyone else you deal with was this easy?"
Darksat said: "In an ideal world perhaps.
Nicely done."
quinny said: "good work BK"
AngelaCea said: "
I found the Member thing and fixed it.

not so fast BK, it is not taking you to the last post, but to the beginning of the thread  "
Darksat said: "Actually the last post button and the main link both take you to the last post.
its easy to get confused, this is one reason I prefer PHPBB, its more idiot proof."
AngelaCea said: "Darksat I am talking about the last post Icon in the forum index, that should take you direct to the last post.
What you are talking about are the display modes in the menu bar.
You can set the forum to start at the last or first post whatever you as a user prefer."
Darksat said: "Well the last post icon on the forum index just worked fine for me."
raven said: "
You can set the forum to start at the last or first post whatever you as a user prefer.
How? That's what I asked you about before. How I can set it to start at the first post in the thread instead of the last?
I have tried all the different thread modes, they don't do the trick."
Darksat said: "I dont think thats enabled on this forum, perhaps BKs mod rewrite removed the option, im not that familiar with all the VB options."
edwin said: "works okay for me."
Darksat said: "Where is it so.
Raven wants to know."
edwin said: "i'm still looking through all the options. lots of stuff to do :)"
raven said: "Really, Edwin? When you click on a thread you are taken to the first post at the top of the page? I'm always taken to the last post on the last page.
What display mode are you using?"
Darren said: "I think it's the rewrite rule. I found this Rewrite for VB Tutorial. Apparently this gal used to work for SEOGuy and he has a similar tutorial on his site.
Both have shortcomings. Like they didn't take into account multiple page threads and also the ordering used by VBulletin. I'll square this issue away and figure out a better implementation."
AngelaCea said: "Some of these things are user errors, for example, if you click on "User CP" you will then be able to find "edit options".
You will then be able to use each drop down menu to select how you want the forum presented.
If you choose to go with show "newest first" the last post will show when you open a thread.
So some of the things we are pushing BK on are our own faults, but this will help him and us learn about the software.
So get in there and play around with the "user control panel" and edit your options now!!!!!!! :)"
raven said: "Well, I haven't done a thing but now the threads are loading from the top of the page instead of the bottom. I'm happy :)"
AngelaCea said: "BK needs to enable under "quick links" the "todays posts" feature.
Also, he needs to enable in the Who's online feature the spider views in addition to the member and guest view of who's online."
Heather said: "
BK needs to enable under "quick links" the "todays posts" feature.
I am not having problems using that feature, BigT. Are you getting an error message or anything?"
AngelaCea said: "The quick links drop down menu works, he just does not have "Todays posts" enabled, he does have "new posts" enabled, but he can also enable "Todays posts."
AngelaCea said: "New posts feature is not showing new posts, BK, can you tell us why?"
