chris3471 said: "I wish my blog would hurry up and resolve to the new server so I could write something. :( Well if all else fails I'll just write in word and publish it when everything gets right."

Darren said: "Why did you move servers?"

chris3471 said: "The blog was on a free host and Jamey decided since he was planning on moving the site to his server soon anyway that this would be a good time. We both figured it's best to do it now before we get too far with it. The free host wasn't very reliable is the main reason for the move."

Darren said: "Good. There's no such thing as a good free host for the most part."

chris3471 said: "It'll be way better for me when this is completed too because I will have a control panel and full access to the site where as right now all I have is ftp."

Darren said: "Yep, it will be much easier. Then you can actually do something instead of watching me work :)"

Darren said: "Quinny's got 14 links and rising. Not bad for a few days."

chris3471 said: "My blog has dissapeared, I think this must be a good sign meaning the domain has resolved or something."

Darren said: "Yeah, you've been wiped, apparently."

chris3471 said: "I just checked with Jamey, he said I am seeing the new server but he isn't yet, he's only about 5 hours from me so it should reach him soon."

Darren said: "The anticipation has left me speechless :)"

chris3471 said: "Same here, I was going crazy yesterday wanting to write and not being able to."

Darren said: "You could always save it in Notepad and paste it later :) I just wrote an article for Blog Republic and submitted to some article submission services. It should pick up 10 or so links I would guess and might even get a few uniques in."

chris3471 said: "I just talked to Jamey, he's going to try and set up the blog for me, probably on localhost I would assume, then I can get moving with this. I have to do everything all over again with the network links and stuff, I have all my previous posts saved to notepad since we're not going to use the backup this time, I think we did that 2 times before and just reinstalled the same problems."

chris3471 said: "Yep, I'm online now! :D Now I have some work to do adding everything to it. First I have to delete my local copy from Dreamweaver and download it again. I can do that while I'm adding the blogroll."

Darren said: "Yep. We're off and running. I bet my Tuesday of next week we should have some definitely web pages in the engines."
