Then just delete the network links from blogroll. Darren said: "I just figured I'd have a few on Blogger for SEO purposes (different IP range and domain), but I Blogger does sort of suck. We'd probably want to encourage most people in the network in the future to use Wordpress. Better yet, we can zip up our current version of WP and they could use that. Change the header image, and VOILA, completely configured for Blog Republic."

Darren said: "The links are going up, each time we post. The Technorati link count for Blog Republic is now at 21. That's pretty decent for starting it Tuesday. Now we just have to consistently post and get more incoming links."

And don't be afraid to make "filler" posts, like you you did about the review process. The main thing we need early on is consistent posting. Also, think of good titles for both click through and SEO. But as things are set up right now, we're off and running. The writing part will get easier as we all do it."

I'm thinking we need several types of posts: 1) Short blurbs and filler 2) Decent length article and a bit more (picture or links) 3) An anchor article that is a top-notch piece that people will link to naturally The easiest ones to do are the fillers. That way we keep on blogging and pinging and we keep spiders and visitors interested. The nice thing is we can chronicle the building of a blog network from scratch. We can have the whole story told on BR for anyone to see. And when we succeed, because succeed we shall, we did it from scratch."
