I'll pat myself on the back for my first natural link!

chris3471 said: ":D My latest review got me a link, I'm very happy now.:D"

Darren said: "You should be. Natural links hold a lot of weight in the search engines and are a sign that your website is a quality resource. It also shows you're doing your job as a web marketer."

Heather said: "Good job, Chris! I think that's why blogs are a lot different than people just trying to do SEO for static websites, Blog owners don't seem like they mind linking to you, whereas 'SEO's' think that they're giving something up by linking."

chris3471 said: "That link is more than just a link to me as well. For me that link is like someone saying that I'm doing a good job and they like what I'm doing. Not to mention that I get to feel good knowing that I made someone else very happy. I've got a number of hits as a result of that review too so I would imagine the blogger probably told everyone she knew about her review. :D"

Darren said: "You got it. This is why you want the incoming links. Each one will further develop your website reputation as a "blog reviewer" and people who want reviews will come naturally and from search engines. Your $100 per day goal is easily achievable, IMHO."

chris3471 said: "It won't be long and I will be writing 2 or 3 reviews per day. That will of course come when I start getting more review requests because it's not easy finding blogs to review. The main difficulty is finding ones in the directory that haven't been abandoned ages ago."

chris3471 said: "You know it's also a lot easier to give a link with a blog, unlike a regular web page where you have to edit the htlm."

Darren said: "Of course it is, and that's why bloggers are more likely to link than regular webmasters. It's the nature of the business. Expect higher PR with blogs than static websites."

chris3471 said: "Check this out http://modified-news.com/ I got a second link from the same person. Look in the left sidebar, you'll see blog award sites and my blog. :D"

chris3471 said: "I replied to her thank you letter and she said it's actually a quadruple link."

Heather said: "Nice job, Chris.. You're well on your way up the ranks.. Keep up the good work!"

chris3471 said: "I think the Bloggeries blog is going to be a big hit. It's simple really, I write a few nice words about someones work and in doing so I give them a boost of confidence, something that we all are looking for anyway. And I also give a link and in exchange I get a link here and there as well, the link being my boost of confidence."

Heather said: "That's a good way to do things. Soon you're going to have a full time job on your hands."

chris3471 said: "I'm looking forward to doing 3 reviews per day, I'm just waiting until I get a little better with the writing and mainly I'm waiting for more people to start requesting reviews. The reviews by request are better and the reviewed bloggers are far more appreciative. Plus I spend quite a bit of time trying to find blogs to review as it is."

Darren said: "Chris check this out Looks like the mod_rewrite rules are busted."

chris3471 said: "Rewrite rules aren't working now. They worked before."

chris3471 said: "Thanks Doug. :D"
