Who?"
Darren said: "Outside of the "blog world", I doubt anyone has heard of them.
You might get one of two people a week to your blog, but not much."
Heather said: "I've saw a few referrals, but not many..
A lot of times Technorati hardly even pulls.."
edwin said: "they dont have the resources maybe?"
Darren said: "At least they deliver some traffic the same day as the post. That's a bonus."
Developer said: "I have heard that if you have a popular story that appears on the front page of Digg it is a bit like getting SlashDotted. That means a large amount of traffic. But you need a very interesting story for this to happen."
Heather said: "How do they find the stories for Digg.. do readers suggest them?"
Developer said: "This page explains it:

Basically you need your stories to be dugg by Digg members. Instead of SlashDot editors choosing stories, the users choose the stories."
edwin said: "the millionpixel guy got famous initially on digg and the got picked up by the media"
Heather said: "Digg seems like some sort of popularity contest to me.
I spent some time there, and it was a "dry" experience (for lack of a better word)
I signed up and instantly I was supposed to invite up to 8 friends.
Most of the stories there aren't that exciting..I can't be alone in this feeling can I?"
Darren said: "You don't stand a chance at Digg unless you have a posse."
Darksat said: "
You don't stand a chance at Digg unless you have a posse.
So why dont we start up a posse?"
Darren said: "I pretty much figured we did set one up. There are 5 people who can work Digg or any of the other bookmark sites.
I've posted around 160 times in the last month and I've been building links into the whole blog network. I'm waiting for you guys to do something. Quinny did post a picture of a tree that looked like a Dick, so that was cool :)
I'm experminenting with building links from del.icio.us and Feedburner right now too. Without a few friends, we won't get anywhere in the blogOsphere."
