New website I'm building - you're invited to participate

Darren said: "Sounds good. We'll also need general contributers, promoters, etc. It would give us a chance to walk a development project through from beginning to end, which could be a useful tool to teach people on here, also."

Darren said: "Sounds good, Sharky. The first thing we'll need is some icons and avatars. For sure I picture: 1) A Thumbs Up - I Like It 2) A Thumbs Down - I Don't Like It If worse comes to worse I could take a picture of my hand I guess and shrink it down :)"

Darren said: "Yes indeed. There's 41 pages indexed already. I added quite a bit of functionality in the website yesterday. It now does trackbacks when you "thumb" someone. I also added features in several places and made the entire website search engine friendly. I also wrote all of the basic "about us" pages, set up email, designed a logo, founded a blog, and promoted the website. thumbd had 213 page views yesterday, in its second day of existence :)"

Heather said: "That's pretty darn impressive, considering how "slow" G can be about fixing their SERP's sometimes."

Heather said: "It's got fuel from the network.."

Submit quality news stories and vote on them. It's working pretty good, but I need to improve certain areas. The website already has a bit of traffic too, because it's communicating with the people who get thumbd."
