I need to learn how to put resale programs on my site. Ihave managed to put part of the resale products on my site but am not sure I got all of the pages installed the way it should be I would hate for someone to come to my site and try to buy some thing and not get sent to right pages and their card get billed and me not know it and be able to send them what they have bought. I guess my main question is what does it mean do have all the files in the same directory? The not so plain instruction(at least for a newbie)on putting the resale package to my site said to make sure i put all the file in the same directory. Is that suppose to mean on the same page on my site? Can someone take pity on a clueless newbie and explain how to properly install resale products to a website. Thank you any help would be greatly appreciated."

ebooks. Hope I am doing this right apparently adding ebooks to my website is not the only problem I am having. I think I replied to my own message lol"
Padawan said: "First thing to check is what format you have the ebook(s) in - is it a file, a directory or a .zip ? If it is not a zipped file then you will want to use winzip or similar to make it so that any purchasers can download the smallest file possible (some people out there are still on dial-up  )
Next upload your file to your server, but call it something obscure and unrelated to the product name, otherwise some unscrupulous visitors may guess it and download it for free.
With the file uploaded you can then create your sales page, either yourself or using the one that is maybe supplied with the resale product. I don't have much experience with other payment processors but if you use paypal you can encrypt the buy now button you put on the page. This stops anyone doing a "view source" on your page to get the download link. When creating the button you are able to specify where the buyer goes when they complete payment - point them to the zipped file, or you could deliver them to a "thankyou for purchase" type page which contains the download link. If you do this make sure you edit the meta robot tag of the page to read "no index, no follow" or you will have the problem of your download page showing up in search engine indexes !!"
