Sharky said: "do ya'll swear?
I saw this program where a brit was in america doing some can't remember but he swore on stage just the word shit and everyone just gasped!
I don't get why, maybe its just us brits i rarely notice if someone swears.
I don't understand the americans ."

raven said: "I say the s word once in a while when I am ticked off about something but otherwise, no. I've just never felt the need to, I guess. I don't care if other people do as long as it's not every other word in a sentence. When they do that I walk away cause the topic of the conversation changes from whatever we were talking about - to swear words."
Sharky said: "May be its just different communities then, I guess its different with communities that contain a lot of kids.
I know a lot of people that would try and place a swear word in a sentance, I find it can be very funny in modern comedians like chris rock when he is complaining ( he also needs to stop smiling when he complains) he could add a couple of strong swear words and it would have much more effect."
edwin said: "i try and keep it clean"
fun&sun said: "Yes people notice if you cuss or swear here. I would love if people didn't notice then I would do it more."
Cass said: "i try not to curse too often. it sounds bad and unprofessional."
Sharky said: "I think its funny quite a lot.
At college when someone did something wrong the tutor went you fucking idiot, emphosysing the word fucking very funny, he used swearing a lot either to break tension or as a joke.
It was brilliant, no other tutors would use any swear words but he was always complaining about political correctness meetings."
Darren said: "You have to be careful about it in business situations. Many people will become highly offended if you swear."
raven said: "I agree with Darren. A tutor swearing (in fun or not) doesn't sound very professional to me."
Sharky said: "It isn't professional but the group we where in he was part of it kind of thing.
I've seen it in a couple of tutors its a great way to engage the group, and we was one of the best groups in the whole block, none of the other groups where doing any good.
A lot of the other groups he had he wasn't really like that, he would have a laugh with them but not the swearing etc."
