dropped fom top to bottom rankings

My commercial sites went from 50 visitors per day to1 or 2. Total traffic to my sites dropped from 1250 to 50 visitors. Awfully FRUSTRATING to have high page-ranks and see 7 YEARS of daily efforts to improve ranking vanish in 1 single day. henkt said: "well it remains strange. sorry, but I know Google ranking quite well, including the Google dance. for say 3 weeks my result in Google in every country were different. Now things slowly get better, in this speed in 3 weeks I have my old rankings again. It SEEMS that every say 2 years Google throws away all links and keyword info to renew their databases. And installs new rules, especially concerning spam. That way sites that arrived on topranking in a couple of months, totally drop to bottom rankings. Sites that slowly reached top rankings are marginally influenced. Most of my websites reached top rankings in 8 or 9 weeks, those sites are still ranked poorly but every week go up a bit. The nice thing is that I changed tactics to influence Yahoo and MSN. Together these 2 searchengines now have passed Google in number of visito :D rs It would be nice if Google after starting this cleanup would give a general notice"
