and and I've even less chance when they're both jumbled together, I've found some aspects of web design easy to get my head round, books or online tutorials always did the trick, not to mention the kind members of the forums including a certain Mr Darksat.
As I've progressed slightly toward css layout, I'm just a little baffled, I've a page, which I have currently on my work website which uses both tables and div's, and I'm at a loss as to how it actually works, it was written with the help of Darksat and features :-

1, A table at 100% x 100%
2, then a div at 100% x 100%
3, inside the div another table 100% x 100%
4, then another table for content at 100% x 10px without closing the table tag from '3'
5, then a list of content controlled using css for a list with float
6, then another table at 100% x 10px again not closing the previous with
I just can't work out if certain closing tags for example for are extra unwanted tags or are real closing tags for
| from somewhere way up the page, and were containing all the rest of the stuff......but then you can't have complete table inside one cell
