Edwin Moderator?

It they were to ban you by ip they would have to ban your ISPs designated IP Range, which would mean none of their other customers could get access either."

But if your router goes off, you still have a different ip when it reconnects so banning by ip is not really an option because you would still have to ban by ip range."
