adding html code to websiteadding html code to website
Manzani said: "Hello
I got my website designed from a webdesigner.
I always want to change things in my website around  and purchased one of those do it yourself editing software which works like word. I already added other stuff which went fine.
No I would like to add some google add sense  but I am really stuck on this.
The self editing software has also the option to go into html mode where you basically just copy and paste whatever you want. I got my google html add code and tried to put it in to the body of my homepage. The problem is; it showes up on top, or in the middle of text but just not where I like it to be. :D
1. Is it because it is a editing software which requires username and passwort
2. How do I open my own website to change the html without the editing software?
3. Or who do I ask for help? I dont want to ask the webdesigner because of every little thing. Or is that not so little?
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards,

Hello dear Quinny,
the software I am using is called http://www.nextedit.net/
and yes I can access all the files. Once you log in there is a editor window which looks and works like Word. Than there are two button on the bottom of this site which says layout and html. I tried to copy the code from google into the html, but it showed up all over the place.
Once you made the changes you can save your work or if you dont like it go back to the original backup file.
I tried it 63 times, I checked the google clicks :) huh little bit frustrating. Thanks for contacting me.[/SIZE]

I am just wondering if this is allowed as I had to get an approval from google to get this code.
I know I am a bit paranoid  "

This is my homepage code / all body html and the google ad has to go into the body of this page in order for them to look up my keywords. I am also not sure if I have a framed page or not as this would make a different in the google code. I always checked framed page when getting the google code.
Are you sure you want to help. :o This is very confusing. You can contact me privately if you want."

Dear Quinny,
first of all thanks for all your replies.
I did like you said. I just added the google code into the notepade homepage html . It showed up and google is crawling the keywords okay, but that skyscraper add is on the very left side on the bottom of my homepage after the bottom banner. So the ad is only visible in the editing mode because I can scroll down further. I was just wondering if you would know the exact spot where I have to add the google code in my html home page. I want it to show on the left side of my homepage.
Thanks so much again. This is very nice of you!!! :) "
