Description:
This modified build of drops copies of itself in the Windows folder, Windows system folder, and root folders under the following names.
This malware propagates via email. It may either reply to incoming mails in the user's mail client, or send varying messages to gathered recipients.
It also spreads via network shares by attempting to access shared folders and dropping a copy of itself in found locations. Lastly, this worm utilizes peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, such as KazAA, to distribute copies of itself.
It runs on Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003.
Note: This worm may run on Windows 98 and ME if the file PSAPI.DLL is present in the system.
Upon execution, this memory–resident worm drops copies of itself in the Windows folder, Windows system folder, and root folders under the following names:
IEXPLORE.EXE
KERNEL66.DLL
RAVMOND.EXE
SYSTRA.EXE
It may also drop the following file in the root folder:
COMMAND.EXE
The malware also drops its backdoor component in the Windows system folder under the following file name:
ODBC16.DLL
It then adds several registry entries to ensure its automatic execution at every system startup.
This malware propagates via email, network shares and peer-to-peer networks such as Kazaa.
Besure to update your AntiVirus programs this is a nasty little bugger and we have seen 1000's of attempts to pass it on through our servers in the past 2 days.
(thank goodness for updated virus and mailscanner software)"

You should look at NOD 32 that is reviewed there at the Wilders link, it is the highest rated AV program that they reviewed and I am VERY happy with it.
There are also free download links for malware scanning software in the above page."

edwin said: "why do you like clamv?"
JamesC said: "Because it works very well with Linux, intergrates with MailScanner and is open source. Also the virus definations are updated quick a cron job running hourly will get the updates and auto install them with out you ever knowning it. ;)"

quick question,
in your JC hosting website why do the prices from busincess to enterprose go from $83 a month for 5GB data transfer to $97 a month for 10GB transfer
to $160 for 20GB
double the data in the 1st instance for $15 extra from business to enterprise, then $67 to double from enterprise to the next level."
AngelaCea said: "Your correct Edwin, but the Wilders link reviews all types of AV programs, server security too I would imagine."

Howdy DarkSat,
Ummm those prices are for a year not a month?
Anyways as for your question as to why the prices are so strange.
Well after being in business for a few years we noticed a pattern when it came to support issues and cost.
A person or company that buys a small account such as the Lite or Business Plan will most likely be building their own website.
Most of which have no idea how to set up a site, email accounts, etc.. etc.. and will most likely have lots of support questions.
( the average is around 30 support tickets in the first month and tapers down over the first year of hosting ...... cost of support is higher when that happens)
Where as a company that orders the Enterprise or eCommerce Plan has more often then not, a web master, is a web master or has a design company that takes care of the site.
These clients have less issues .... support request/questions are down by 80% ( most support questions are covered in a couple of emails in the first 7 days or less ..... cost of support is lower)
Now this is not always the case but over the years this is the way it has played for our customer base.
Also servers that are hosting the higher end sites have more space and bandwidth available to them. (200 Gig hard drives versus 80 Gig Hard drives,,, 2 terabytes versus 1 terabyte of bandwidth per month)
So we based our price structure to fit the client's needs and server resourses.
These days bandwidth and space are cheap compared to support staff.
Support cost High ....... Space and Bandwidth cost Low
All these factors allow us to provide a great service for a great price with out compromising services and support for the client's."

around 2 to 1 for every 2 beginner sites we get we will get a high end site (or a beginner will up grade their site) up gradeing a plan happens quite often which is good ........ ;)"

JamesC said: "
Whats the conversion from beginner to advanced?
Never really looked that deep into it, Just a guess I would say around 40% that start out with a small plan will upgrade their plan of course this is depending on how well a site does over the first year.
Most will give up on an idea if it does not kick off with-in the first year which is bad seeing how SEO's will tell you that it takes almost 2 years to gain good search results from the major SE's these days."

Ummm sorry I did not say anything about "rank" I said to get good results from the Search Engines you should at least work on it for 2 years.
SEO is a never ending process if you think that pokeing around it for a few months or even a year should make you rich then there is a big suprise for you at the end of the first year, you have waisted your time and money.
If you are not going to hang on for at least 2 years, work hard at trying to incress your traffic through optimization, then I suggest do not even start an online business."
Darksat said: "You can get quite good traffic in 12 months via SEO for a new website and competitive terms.
I have seen people get traffic a lot faster than that as well, in as little as 2 months in some case."
